This is a lecture presentation by Alfred Snider of the University of Vermont and the World Debate Institute. This part concerns how to built major argument positions, the steps in building major arguments, forms of support and how to show the impact of major arguments.

This video was made at the 2011 International Debate Academy Slovenia instructional program held 19-27 November 2011 at Hotel Spik in Kranjska Gora Slovenia and with a tournament held at the Faculty of Administration at the University of Ljubljana.

IDAS is a cooperative program of Za in Proti/Center for the Culture of Dialog and the World Debate Institute at the University of Vermont. In 2011 over 140 individuals from over 30 countries attended.
